Optimizing a Route

Optimize puts a route's stops in the best driving order, using Google's route optimizer on real roads. It handles routes of up to 400 stops.

1. Open the route and press Optimize (bottom right). Save any unsaved changes first.
2. Driver starts from — your business address, any other address (home, the yard), or right after another route finishes.
3. Driver finishes — back where they started, at the last stop, at the business, or any other address (the landfill, the yard).
4. Press Optimize. The preview compares the current order with the optimized one in miles and driving minutes, and lists the new order.
5. Press Use this order to save it, or Back to try another start or finish.

Your start and finish are remembered for the next time you optimize that route. Stops without a map location cannot be placed, so they stay at the end of the list and are marked.
