Website Service Requests & Resident Opt-In
Let customers request service without typing their details into your dashboard. Requests wait for your review before they become stops, communities, or active unit service.
Share your branded request page
- As the account owner, open Settings → Operations and turn on Accept service requests from my website. This is off by default and available to operators with an active plan or trial.
- Copy your service request link, paste the website button into your website builder’s HTML block, or download the QR code for flyers and door hangers.
- Your public page uses your business name, logo, and brand colors. Its link stays the same when you change your business name.
The form matches your service
| Service | What the visitor provides | Where you review |
|---|---|---|
| Route pickup | Name, email, an address selected from suggestions, and optional notes. Recurring or one-time pickup / haul. | Routes → Requests |
| Valet trash for a property | Property name, email, optional phone, an address selected from suggestions, and requested start date. | Communities → Requests |
| Optional in-house resident service | Name, email, and optional notes from an existing inactive unit’s door-tag page. | Units → Requests |
An operator offering both Routes and Communities has one request link. Visitors choose the service they need. Requests are separated into the appropriate inbox.
Fixed or selectable service days
In Settings → Operations, set service days separately for route pickup and valet-trash properties, then click Save Service Days. Choose Fixed service days to publish your schedule without letting visitors change it. For example, a Monday–Thursday valet-trash service shows those four nights without checkboxes.
Choose Visitor preferences to accept day preferences. All seven days are available by default; deselect the days you do not offer. Keep at least one day selected. Preferences are requests; you confirm the final schedule when reviewing. One-time pickups use a preferred date instead.
Review before starting service
- Open Requests on Routes, Communities, or Units. The badge counts new requests. Use New, Approved, and Declined to review request history.
- For a route request, Approve opens the existing Add Stop form with the submitted details. Approve & Add Stop creates an Unassigned stop. Add it to a route when you are ready.
- For a property request, Approve opens the existing Add Community form. Check its details, unit count, requested start date, and service days, then choose Approve & Create Community. Only the owner or an account Admin can create a community.
- For an optional resident request, Approve opens a review summary for the existing unit. Approve & Enable Service turns service on after your review.
- Decline closes the request, optionally with an internal reason, and creates no service record. Canceling an approval form leaves the request new.
Optional service at an in-house property
An in-house property owner can turn on Allow residents to request service in Settings → Operations. Residents of inactive units request service from their existing door-tag page. They cannot create a new unit or turn service on themselves. Existing active units keep their service.
Residents see the property’s existing service nights, which they cannot change. Resident service enrollment and SMS opt-in are separate choices; requesting service does not consent to texts.
Notifications and access
New requests create an owner email and an in-app alert according to the existing contact-submission notification preferences. The owner, account Admins, Managers, and District Managers can review requests. Agents cannot open request inboxes. Property Managers cannot open operator website requests; at an in-house property they may review optional resident requests for properties they have access to.
Switch website requests off to close public intake; existing requests remain available for review. Switch optional resident requests off to close that intake. Driver apps continue working as usual with approved, assigned stops.
